Description

The Wolfson Light Microscopy Facility (LMF), due to its success, expansion is now needed to provide space for additional equipment including development and application of novel microscopy in conjunction with the University's Biophysical Imaging Centre (BICEN).The location of the proposed works is a room within an existing Edwardian building, currently occupied as office/study space. This space will be refurbished to provide the expansion microscopy facility. Key considerations include close control environmental temperature regulation and providing a sub divided spaces with laser and black out curtains for the use of specialist equipment. An enabling works phase has already been completed by The University and the room has been stripped out and partially refurbished in preparation for the proposed finishes and M&E services installations.
