Description
Public Health Division is inviting organisations from faith-based organisations to apply for funding to provide COVID-19 and Test and Trace messages to the communities they support throughout Birmingham, either separately or as part of a partnership consortium/ consortia bid. Islam is the 2nd most popular faith in Birmingham next to Christian. This is closely followed by Sikh and Hindu.
We are seeking tenders for the following faith-based communities:
Lot A - Islam
Lot B - Sikhism
Lot C - Hinduism
Lot D - African led churches and African Caribbean led churches
Lot E - Interfaith small faith communities
Tenders will require organisations to support citizens from these faiths and to be shared through interfaith organisations to ensure COVID-19 and Test and Trace messages are shared as widely as possible through trusted resources across all communities throughout Birmingham. It is anticipated that more than one provider will be required for this Lot. Partnership bids will also be welcome.
Timeframe for delivery: The Public Health Division will discuss the exact timescales once tenders are evaluated. We anticipate that the programme will last no longer than 7 months, however, should COVID 19 outbreak remain a significant issue beyond the contract period, we reserve the right to extend the operations under this contract for further 3 months.
