Description

Wigan Council wishes to work with a suitably experienced and qualified organisation to work in partnership with the Local Authority on the delivery of a service that will deliver Short Breaks in the home or the local community.

Short break services are vitally important for families with children and young people who have a disability. These breaks can provide essential and needed support to families, whilst offering young people positive experiences and stimulating activities.

This service is for the provision of 1:1 (or 2:1, where assessed as such) outcome focused, individualised support for our children and young people with SEND, to enable them to access their community, try new activities and learn new skills for life.
