Description

2631/492/MY/NW/20 High Performance Computers x2

The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a High Performance Computers x2 on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, North West Group at Preston.

Scope of Requirement
This tender is for the supply, installation and commissioning of a rack of HPCs with high specifications.
The tender is split into two lots:
LOT 1: CPU-Powerful HPC
LOT 2: GPU-Powerful HPC.
The University would prefer to award to one supplier for both lots, but would accept responses for one lot only.
The AMRC is looking for an end-to-end solution including delivery, installation, commissioning, training, and support.
The equipment will support the AMRC's research into technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, and computing intensive simulations.
