Quotation for Immigration - Dealing with Housing Benefit Claims Received from Claimants from Overseas Training

The Learning & Development Team are currently working with the Income Management section of Sandwell MBC to commission an in-depth development course to enable employees to make decisions on housing benefit claims from people who have arrived in the UK from the EEA and other parts of the world.
Course Outcome Requirements:
To give employees an understanding of:

o Eligibility for social housing for EEA Nationals
o Falling in and out of eligibility
o Rights of family members
o Eligibility for social housing from applicants from abroad outside the EU
o Sponsorship
o Limited leave to remain
o Relevant documents and what they mean
o Rights of UK Citizens returning to the UK
o Derivative right to reside
o Permanent residence and how to qualify GPOW for JSA
o Domestic Violence and EEA Nationals
