Description

The Council is seeking to appoint a single Facilities Management Provider ('Contractor') to provide hard facilities management services across its operational estate in the London Borough of Brent.
The Council operational estate is located within the London Borough of Brent and comprises of 24 locations consisting of approximately 55000 m2 of space and includes the following:
• Brent Civic Centre
• Libraries
• NHS Facility
• Commercial Offices
• Adult Social Care Centres
• Children & Young People Centres
• Commercial Offices
• Family Wellbeing Centres
The Council's current Facilities Management (FM) contract is due to expire on 30 June 2021. The Contract will run for an initial 5 year period, commencing on 1 July 2021 until 30 June 2026. The Council reserves the right to extend the contract by up to 24 months (in 2 x 12 month periods) up to a maximum end date of 30 June 2028. Either of these extension periods can be extension periods can be exercised at the Council's discretion subject to satisfactory performance of the Contractor and continuing Council requirements.
The value of the 5 year fixed term is anticipated to be £5m - £7.5m. The value of each year will be in the region of £1m - £1.5m, therefore, the potential total value of the contract, if all option are exercised could be £7m - £10.5m.
Facilities Management services required included but are not limited to:
• Full provision of Hard FM Services across all operational estate sites (to a lesser degree at Bridge Park Community Leisure Centre which will require statutory testing and reactive maintenance only), including planned and reactive maintenance, all statutory and health and safety inspections, tests and checks and wider elements as detailed within the Contract Specification; and
• Grounds Maintenance Services.
