Description
Your organisation, along with others, is invited to submit a tender for The Provision of Official Food Control Interventions for the period during 18th June 2018 to 31st March 2022 with the option to extend until 17th June 2022 under the framework. Sheffield City Council' provides a Food Service to deliver Official Controls and meet other statutory duties and functions under food hygiene and safety legislation. The authority's Food Service Plan and food inspection programme will be planned over the financial year running from 1st April to the 31st March year ending, this excludes year 1 as this will run from the contract start date to 31st March 2019. This will determine the numbers of inspections to be completed, allocation of work to the external provider to deliver during agreed timescales within the year and meet demand and flexibility to service requirements. The Services to be tendered will consist of the \"programmed inspections and alternative intervention work\" in Commercial Food Premises. The Council will manage and maintain its own back office administration of the service in-house. This will include the management and allocation of files (paper and/or electronic), relevant documentation/paperwork, input of inspection ratings onto the internal database. The Council will manage and maintain the enforcement areas of the Service
