Description

Medway Council are procuring services in relation to the Government Multiply scheme, The main aims of the scheme are to improve numeracy skills in adults aged 19+ who do not currently have a level 2 in Maths. This is to be delivered through an array of defined interventions.
The aims of the project are to:
a) increase the number of adults achieving maths qualifications (up to, and including, Level 2 - with GCSEs and FSQs as our qualification of choice in England);
b) improve labour market outcomes; and
c) increase adult numeracy across the population
This specification relates to the Multiply Intervention - 'Innovative numeracy programmes delivered together with employers - including courses designed to cover specific numeracy skills required in the workplace'. Please read through the entire specification before bidding.
Launching this year across the UK, Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. Good numeracy skills may unlock job opportunities and lead to higher wages or prepare you for further study. They also help in everyday life, such as helping children with homework and budgeting money. Medway Council are seeking for partners to help deliver Multiply in Medway.
The response must include detailed descriptions of how you will deliver the interventions in accordance with Multiply requirements, reach out to new learners
