Description
Brent Council have an exciting opportunity for an effective CQC registered provider to deliver 2 Supported Living Learning Disability services from 127 and 129 Harrowdene Road, each service contains 5 units.
Both services will provide 24 hour care and support, including waking night cover The service will support people who have a medium to high level of learning disabilities.
The duration of the contracts will be for an initial contract term of two years, with an option to extend for one year. Estimated commencement of the service will be November 2020. The maximum estimated value across both services for the proposed 3 year contract is £1,575,369
Brent Council are committed to delivering high quality care and support services to people with Learning Disabilities. The provider we are looking for must therefore be able to demonstrate that they have a track record of working with this client group and can evidence that they are able to achieve the best possible outcomes for service users.
The successful provider will be able to rise to the challenge of being able to offer personalised care which is tailored to meet the needs of each individual and that people will have greater choice and control over their lives and how they live it.
The contract will set out that the provider is responsible for providing a high quality service by working within the resources and budget available. In addition, they will be expected to work closely with partners and stakeholders including both the statutory and voluntary sector.
This service will be an integral part of Brent's New Accommodation for Independent Living Project (NAIL). NAIL is the largest and most strategically important efficiency and quality improvement initiative with Brent's Adult Social Care Department.
