Description

The University requires a continuous temperature monitoring system with capabilities to measure gases, humidity and energy in the future. The system must have the ability to log, report, alert, record actions and trend data. The system is intended to be used to monitor all identified areas across the estate where controlled conditions are required. This will typically be cold storage units (fridges, freezers, ultralow temperature freezers) within laboratories that contain biological samples, however there are also cold rooms, liquid nitrogen dewars and plant growth chambers that require monitoring. The intention is to procure a wireless temperature and monitoring system with a centralised recording and alert system.
