Description
Historic England wishes to commission a survey of businesses occupying listed properties. This is the third in a series of surveys about the contemporary ownership and use of listed buildings, but will be the first to focus on business occupiers.
The survey is extremely important to Historic England and the heritage sector as it provides insights into this group of heritage custodians. Through the survey we hope to understand the challenges businesses face, the benefits that arise from being based in a listed building and how best the heritage sector can respond to business needs.
The research is being carried out through a partnership with the Ecclesiastical Insurance group, as in previous years.
