Description

Bristol City Council are issuing this Early Engagement Notice to advise the market of an upcoming project

This procurement is in relation to an application for the Salix Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS). The PSDS was established as part of the UK Gov's green recovery and provides grants for public sector bodies to fund heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency measures. Therefore Bristol City Council are looking to procure a mechanical and electrical contractor to install & commission heat network substations & upgrade heating systems across 16 public buildings within the central Bristol area, including schools & housing across Central Bristol, including Redcliff and Old Market Heat Networks
Works include:
• M&E design work based on the supplied scope
• Installation of heat exchanger substations in each building
• The upgrade of the buildings heating systems
• Commissioning of the systems

Anticipated Procurement Timetable
Due to the nature of the grant and the timing within the year, Bristol City Council are looking for a contractor to be able to mobilise rapidly, therefore a quick procurement process has been set:

Tender clarifications: 02/07/21 - 16/07/21
Tender closing date: 23/07/21
