Description

Staffordshire County Council would like to hear from Trainers who can deliver the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) in Staffordshire. The suite of courses delivered in Staffordshire are the following:
• National Speed Awareness Course
• National Motorway Awareness Course
• Safe & Considerate Driving Course
• What's Driving Us? Course which focuses on changing driving behaviour, attitude and prevent motorists re-offending again.

As an alternative to prosecution, approximately 35,000 motorists undertake an NDORS course in Staffordshire each year.

This opportunity is divided into two Lots split by the type of course delivered:
• Lot 1 - Theory trainers
• Lot 2 - Practical trainers

18 Trainers will be awarded for Lot 1 and 4 Trainers will be awarded for Lot 2 though Trainers can apply for both Lots if they meet all requirements.

Do you meet the following requirements:
• Hold a NDORS licence to deliver at least one of the NDORS courses outlined above.
• Possess excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
• Have excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to interact with a wide variety of people.
• Possess IT skills in relation to connecting and using equipment such as projectors to enable the delivery of the courses as well sending and receiving emails.
• Able to work flexibly at all venues/locations and various course timings throughout the County of Staffordshire.
• Desire to undergo Further training as and when required.
