Description

GBC is looking to form various Measured Term Contracts for the works listed below;

- Lot 1 - External Works - External brick/timber works. Excavation, to include drainage/paving/garden preparation and fencing renewal/repairs. Indicative overall annual spend ?184,000 per annum.
- Lot 2 - Larger Internal Works (including Kitchens and Bathrooms) - Larger Internal works Kitchen and Bathroom replacement/repair. Works to communal areas in flats and Sheltered Homes. Indicative overall annual spend ?230,000 per annum.
- Lot 3 - Electrical Works - Rewiring/upgrading of all or parts of properties. Testing and Certificating of occupied and void properties. Indicative annual spend ?80,000 per annum.
- Lot 4 - Glazing and External Works - Supply and fitting of UPCV windows and composite doors. Reglazing/repairs to existing windows and external doors. Indicative annual spend ?65,000 per annum.
- Lot 5 - Plastering - All internal rooms and communal areas in flats and sheltered homes. Indicative annual spend ?50,000 per annum.
- Lot 6 - Roofing and Guttering - Repairs, replacement of pitched and flat roofs, including out buildings. Gutter and drainage pipe repair/replacement Indicative annual spend ?42,000 per annum.
- Lot 7 - Painting and Decorating - Preparation and painting of internal rooms and communal areas. Also external painting but limited to doors and windows. Indicative annual spend ?40,000 per annum.

Please note that these contracts are reserved for SME's only as detailed in Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 11/20: Reserving below threshold procurements. As defined in the PPN an SME is defined as;

Small and Medium sized Enterprise (SME): Any business with fewer than 250 employees and either an annual turnover below ?45m or a total balance sheet less than ?40m.
Any bidder that is not defined as an SME will be excluded from the tender.
