Description

AWARDED Stevenage Borough Council is looking for competent contractors to tender for the provision of a new entrance screens, doors, canopy and glass infill to arched colonnades at Fred Millard Court, an Extra Care housing scheme. The building comprises various ranges of flats and bungalows on two levels arranged around a courtyard and will continue to be fully occupied during the remodelling work.

OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORKS
Removal/adaptation of existing doors, screens, steel gates and railings, etc.
Removal/adaptation of existing access control equipment from existing doors.
Adaptation of existing brick arch to form rectangular opening.
Supply & installation of new entrance canopy, glazed screens, power-operated doors, door controls & associated works.
Adaptation to remove fob access from certain internal doors.
Supply & installation of new glazed arch infill screens to two elevations.
Modifications to lower level bin store and mobility scooter store.
