Description

The Council is required to arrange services under the Care Act to provide people with care and support within their homes. The contract is for the Supply, Installation, Maintenance, Repair, Removal, Storage and Reinstallation of Ceiling Track, Wall Mounted and Gantry Hoists for Disabled People in Domestic Premises is an essential service to enable people to be lifted and transferred safely by their carers and support workers. The current arrangement is now due for recommissioning and the Council is therefore seeking to identify a suitable contractor to deliver this function on its behalf from 1st October 2019.
