Description
The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge ("the Authority") invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to Tender for the Contract for the Provision of Workplace Travel Services in the London Borough of Redbridge ("the Contract").
The Contract will commence on 1st February 2019 and, subject to satisfactory performance, will operate for a period of three (3) years, terminating at midnight on 31st January 2022 ("the Contract Period"). At the sole discretion of the Authority and subject to the satisfactory performance of the provider the Contract Period may be extended for up to two (2) years (in such period or periods as the Authority deems appropriate) providing a total possible Contract Period to midnight on 31st January 2024.
The Contract is for the provision of a Workplace Travel scheme and comprises of four (4) separate 'Lots' or contracts, as detailed below:
• Lot 1 Car Club Scheme - provision of a fully managed Car Club service for both Corporate (Staff) and Public ;
• Lot 2 Bike Club Scheme - provision of a fully managed Electric Bike Club scheme for Corporate (Staff);
• Lot 3 Electric Vehicle Charging Points - supply, installation, maintenance and operation of on-street, electric vehicle charging point infrastructure; and
• Lot 4 Telematics System - supply, maintenance and operation of Telematics hardware and software, for use by the Authority Staff personal vehicles
Organisations may submit a Tender for any one or more of the Lots as they deem appropriate to their technical ability and experience.
