Description
NWL CCG requires the provision of IAPT services in primary care settings in Hounslow borough. Psychological therapies offered in primary care settings is an integral part of mental health service and has a key role to play in meeting the needs of users who consult their GP with a mental health problem for which they require some form of intervention.
The service will ensure provision of an equitable service to Hounslow's diverse population, paying special attention to providing appropriate and accessible services for people from BAME communities and 'vulnerable' groups (people with learning disabilities who are able to engage, long term conditions, neurological conditions, carers, older adults, non-English speakers etc).
Key services required include:
• Couples Counselling
• Counselling for Depression
• Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy
• Interpersonal Therapy
• Other general counselling interventions
The current provider is Anchor Counselling Services with an estimated annual contract value of £776,197. The NWL CCG is considering options for making future arrangements for this service.
The purpose of this PIN is to be transparent about the CCG's intentions to initiate another 12 month contract with the supplier while considering options for making future arrangements for this service.

If it is that Anchor Councelling Services are the only provider capable of delivering the service, then the CCG will look to award a further contract to the provider for up to 12 months.
Whilst the CCG considers its procurement options for these services going forward, it may extend its arrangements with the provider until a new contract is awarded.
During 2022, it is anticipated that NWL CCG will be succeeded by an Integrated Care Board (ICB). Any future contract and/or procurement opportunity may therefore be in the name of the ICB.
