Description
Natural England and Defra seek a supplier to develop a framework for the future evaluation of mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) as set out in the Environment Bill. The primary aim of the policy is to secure a measurable improvement in habitat for biodiversity whilst streamlining development processes. The purpose of the evaluation framework is to enable Natural England and Defra to evaluate how BNG is being delivered and understand the impact of BNG.
We are looking for bidders to propose methods which meet the requirements set out in the specification and we are interested in evaluation frameworks which draw on complexity-appropriate methods. The approach that is proposed should be evidence-based as well as build on and complement existing evidence and policy development.
