Description
Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust ("the Trust") is seeking to appoint a student and staff housing partner ("SSHP") to secure investment and expertise to construct, refurbish and operate staff and student accommodation (c. 375 beds) at the Site over a period of up to 50 years from practical completion ("the Project").
The Project is envisaged to involve:
- New build and extensions comprising c. 200 beds
- Refurbishment and remodelling of existing residences comprising c. 150 beds
- Restoration of a Grade II listed building
Throughout the term of the Project with the SSHP the Trust requires the ability but not the obligation to nominate student
rooms annually, and for Trust staff to be given priority if vacancies arise in the staff rooms.
The SSHP will be responsible for marketing the accommodation to secure occupancy in order to minimise vacancies as well as providing soft and hard facilities management services.
