Description
This requirement is for the appointment of a Storage Specialist Consultancy to carry out a full storage utilisation survey, and produce a fully detailed report for the offices of The Competition & Markets Authority, (CMA).
The objectives of the storage rationalisation survey and report are:
1. Allow CMA to make informed decisions in collaboration with the selected fit out contractor, on space planning and agile working in their new premises
2. To be able to assess, in consultation with the business, the levels of current storage and usage thereof, the business processes and policies currently in place, and include a review of existing retention and disposal, plus statutory and non-statutory storage
3. Highlight any potential opportunities for use of alternative document storage solutions
4. To engage and support business owners to consider alternative options other than on-site retention of physical storage, where policies and procedures would allow
5. Identify the total size of physical document storage by department / type / head in linear metres
6. Identify and agree business owners of the current storage
7. Provide objective and measured assessment of current and future physical storage solutions including opportunities for reductions in storage and costs and recommend how this may be achieved
8. Identify opportunities for reduction in overall physical document storage over 2 phases with a storage re-audit in between
