Description

A 5G Popup/Cell-on Wheels (CoW) - comprising of at least
1. A trailer (with external power feed, inbuilt power generator, refrigerated cabinet for kit, etc) (can be towed using another vehicle).
2. Telescopic/retractable mast (up to 12m)
3. 3 X directional antenna and 1 omni directional for the shared spectrum range of 3.8 to 4.2 GHz (e.g. similar to AW3828, AW3825) - with ability to selectively turn on/off different antenna
4. Suitable BBUs, RRUs (subject to 3.) to drive the antenna - delivering a strong signal within a 1 Km radius range
5. 5G Core Network hosted on suitable COTS HW (HP/Dell) on the trailer
6. MEC platform/UPF on separate platform (HP/Dell) on the trailer
7. High throughput satellite backhaul (either use of adjustable or auto-pointing antenna) this is for access to internet/DN or remote 5G Core
8. Cabinet with sufficient space to be able to add additional equipment in future
9. Extendable architecture of the setup to allow for different hardware to be added as needed
All assembled and delivered to SA Catapult Westcott campus.
