the award of contract to deliver extra care services at Roseberry Mansions and Esther Randall Court to One Housing Group from 1st December 2018 for an initial period of three (3) years four (4) months, plus three (3) optional extensions of two (2) years for a total indicative contract value of
£6,580,293 (£18,424,821 in aggregate including contract extensions).
Extra care housing is primarily designed to support frail older people with onsite 24/7 staff to provide care and support. It may often be an alternative to residential care for people who can manage an independent tenancy with support. Tenants will typically be 65+ with care and/or support needs, although we are developing our extra care housing to incorporate a preventative function in supporting people whose care needs are likely to increase over the coming years. designed to offer a home for life, providing flexible care and support that can be adapted to meet tenants changing needs
