Description

The Council is looking for a Contractor to provide a tree maintenance service within the Council's parkland and open spaces, woodlands, housing and highway land. Services will include tree pruning, felling, stump removal, emergency call out duties and tree planting.

There will be two tree maintenance contracts awarded: Contract A comprises urban tree maintenance services across the whole of Dacorum. Contract B comprises woodland / rural tree maintenance services across the whole of Dacorum. Contracts A and B can be awarded to two separate companies or to one company overall. Companies can tender for either or both contracts.

o Contract A (Urban) equates to 75% approximately of annual tree work expenditure.

o Contract B (Woodland/Rural) equates to 25% approximately of annual tree work expenditure.

Minimum Requirements for tenderers.
Your organisation must have held the Approved Contractor accreditation of the Arboricultural Association for 4 years (or equivalent accreditation in EU countries)
OR
Approved accreditation of CHAS or similar SSIP scheme (non -construction) or equivalent for a minimum of 4 years.
