Description

The aim of the service is to provide a community-led membership scheme to provide access to low cost, nutritious food

The core service delivery requirements of the Service are:
- Provision of a community-led model food membership scheme providing access to low cost, nutritious food
- Membership scheme that members can opt in and out
- Scheme to be accessed and supported through telephone and text
- Access to the scheme for a family should be no more than £8.00 per week and no more than £4.00 per week for an individual
- Effective policies and procedures should be followed for collection of membership fees
- Deliveries should be made 5 times per week with at least one delivery in the Central Hub and one in the South Hub.
- Service to operate 52 weeks per year
- Food must be stored and delivered safely and securely in accordance with all Food Safety & Hygiene Regulations
