Description

The College wishes to appoint a Project Manager who will advise on and project manage the overall delivery of the insourcing of its Cleaning services through to a satisfactory conclusion. It is estimated that this will be a 6 month project with an option to extend if required. It is envisaged that the Project Manager will deliver the full range of advisory and project management services required including but not limited to:

o Project managing a TUPE-compliant process, with particular focus on documentation of decisions, management of changes to specifications and appropriate communications with all stakeholders
o Act as the senior advisor and expert with regard to the project requirements and risks, reporting to senior management as appropriate
o Establish a project plan and timetable (see Annex 1 for outline timeline)
o Work with the College's internal work-streams to manage the risks to achieving the desired outcome by the required deadline
o Liaise with legal advisors to manage any negotiations required to update the College's employment Framework to meet the needs of the cleaners
o Prepare consultation documents to initiate the TUPE process
o Manage information flows with internal College stakeholders throughout the project
o Respond to any technical or operational clarifications raised by the work-streams
o Co-ordinate and analyse information/responses
o Advise on relevant matters arising and project manage the process from planning to project closure
o Liaise with the College and legal (and other) advisors and co-ordinate with the College's internal project team throughout
o Prepare papers/reports for approval from Project Board/University Council, attendance at key meetings if required
