Description
Huntingdonshire District Council wishes to obtain quotes for a specialist to undertake the role of 'critical friend' for a project to decriminalise parking (adoption of Civil Parking Enforcement) within the boundaries of the district and the establishment of a Civil Enforcement Area within the boundaries of the district. With the enforcement of on-street parking offences currently falling within the remit of the Police as a criminal offence, this process will enable the Local Authority to undertake enforcement covering several common on-street offences under the guise of Civil Parking Enforcement.
