Description

Elmbridge Borough Council is seeking to appoint an Insurance Broker. The appointed broker is required to act as an intermediary between the Council and the insurance market negotiating premiums, policy coverage and insurance contract wordings on the Council's behalf. The appointed broker is required to have a thorough understanding of the Local Authority's activities, partnerships and the building control mutual and also advise the Council on insurance coverage including shortfalls in cover, whilst ensuring compliance with any relevant legislation and regulations including the 2015 Insurance Act etc., and advise on any new insurance products available in the market and those envisaged.
