Description

1. Construction of Machine Grading

To strip off surface as required and machine grade existing sub-base to correct lines and levels, adding newly imported as required to make up levels.

All unwanted materials to be loaded to lorries and transported from site.

All to be power rolled to levels to receive tarmac surface - area totalling 900 m2

2. Concrete Path Edgings 172 lm

Lay concrete path edgings on dry mixed concrete (lean mix) to correct levels to form a boarder for the car park, lay wet concrete on back edge and neatly trowel to prevent displacement.

3. Stormwater Drainage Dispersal Channels 34 lm

Lay preformed drainage channel on dry mixed concrete (lean mix) to correct levels and falls, connect new channels to existing storm water outlet and to clear existing storm water outlet. Apply wet concrete on back edges of drainage channel and neatly trowel to prevent displacement.

4. Construction of Tarmac Binder Course

To construct 20mm nominal size aggregate EN131081 (AC20 densebin) binder course to correct lines and levels to a compacted thickness of 30-50 mm.

5. Construction of Tarmac Surface Course

Two coat method - 50 mm of AC20 binder course and 30 mm of AC10 dense surf. (80 mm total thickness)

Apply single coat extra over for hardwearing 'A' road quality stone mastic asphalt.

6. Line Marking

To mark out in hot applied thermoplastic line marking paint estimated 30-50 no. parking bays.

7. Install Granite Sets to Entrance

To install a single row of 200 x 100 x 100 mm granite sets across gate line and extending 5m each side into the car park a 100mm wide margin with fully pointed joints.
