"Evidence of bioaccumulation in field monitoring and regulatory testing indicates that existing guidelines to screen for bioaccumulation may not capture all organic chemicals that bioaccumulate. This project aims to:
1. identify new methods that could be used to screen for bioaccumulation in a more holistic and comprehensive manner; and
2. evaluate whether these are fit for purpose as regulatory tools in support of UK REACH chemical registration requirements."
