Description

Norwich City Council (the Administering Authority) is seeking a supplier to provide safety barriers, advanced warning and road closure signage at Norwich City Council's annual programme of events. This contract will support the council to deliver public events in and around Norwich.

Safety, parking and keeping the traffic moving through the city are priorities for the council at all times, however, when a Norwich City Council event is being held this has to be carefully monitored and managed.

The council is looking for a supplier who has the capability to provide barriers, cones, scaffold towers, road closure signage and all relevant machinery to assist with the delivery of this year's programme of events.
The successful supplier will also be required to install and derig all items at the scheduled times and locations as agreed with Norwich City Council.

The contract will be for the duration of the programme of events planned for 2017.

Based on the current requirement the council is estimating the value of the contract to be between £20,000 and £27,000, although no amount of work is guaranteed.
