Description

Herefordshire Council has committed to achieving Net Zero Carbon and Nature Rich by 2030. We are seeking to appoint a provider with the necessary experience and capability to undertake a Climate Change Risk and Impact Assessment and develop an Adaptation and Resilience Strategy between 2nd May 2023 and 15th November 2023.
The work will include research, data analysis, stakeholder engagement and report writing services and will result in the production of a detailed assessment of the county's current and future risks, opportunities and impacts of climate change.
The scope will include reliable economic valuations where possible and recommendations for Herefordshire Council and all impacted sectors including health and social care, business and industry, agriculture, transport networks, communities, built environment, technology infrastructure and natural environment.
The project will be delivered in stages:
Stage 1: Produce a new Herefordshire Climate Change Risk and Impact Assessment
Stage 2: Work with stakeholders to develop an Adaptation and Resilience Strategy and associated action plan covering 2023 - 2030
Both are to be delivered by 15th November 2023.
