Description
Community Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service for registered patients in Sunderland and Gateshead.
The aim of the service is to provide a community based, coordinated rehabilitation service to patients aged 16 and above, offering components of inter-disciplinary specialist rehabilitation and support which supports patients and their carers over a longer course of time and events.
The service will treat patients with mild, moderate and complex brain injuries addressing their comprehensive needs for functional and emotional support, information and advice and practical help with vocational issues, housing, benefits and care support needs.
