Description

Stour Culvert is an insitu reinforced concrete box structure. The culvert carries Stour Road over the Ellenor Brook watercourse. There is a single carriageway over the bridge for one lane of traffic in each direction.

The works will comprise of excavation of road surfacing and fill material, removal of existing paving slabs, removal of existing waterproofing system to expose the concrete deck, preparation of concrete deck and application of new waterproofing system. This will be followed by reinstatement works including carriageway and footway surfacing, lining and kerbs where necessary.
