Description

Leeds City College ('the College') is seeking to purchase a 'Smoothwall' Web Filter solution to be implemented and managed centrally in conjunction with our current live deployment from our Park Lane Campus.

Please note - Both warranty and support have to be included within the purchase price and run for a period of not less than three years. Any warranty must also be deferred from the date of purchase to the actual 'go-live' date of August 2019, then run concurrently for the minimum period of three years. Also, any proposed professional services must be included within the price.

The process will be managed through Leeds City College's e-Tendering portal, in-tend, which provides a secure delivery mechanism and an auditable record of the process. There is no cost associated with using the portal and merely requires a short registration process.

Any issues, queries or problems with the e-Tendering portal needs to be addressed to Further Education Colleges by telephone on 0845 557 8079 or by email at support@in-tend.co.uk.

Any question in respect of the tender documentation should be sent via the portal using the messaging facility within the system. This ensures that a complete audit trail of the process is generated. Questions raised which result in additional information being provided will be shared with all organisations together with Leeds City College's response, but will not breach any areas of commercially sensitive information.

Leeds City College accepts no liability for any costs incurred by any organisations in respect or preparing or submitting any Expression of Interest documentation or any further elements of the wider procurement process.


Delivery Notes

Tenders should preferably be returned electronically using the In-Tend procurement portal.

If you submit your tender in hard copy, your envelope must NOT display your name or address. If a courier is delivering the tender for you, please make sure that they do not label or mark the envelope with anything which will identify you. Please make sure that any additional packaging is clearly identified as containing a tender. If you do use a courier, please ensure that they know the exact location of the College site to which the tender should be delivered. Leeds City College cannot be held responsible for the late arrival of tenders due to misunderstanding or unavoidable delay.
