Soft Market Testing for the Design, Supply, Install and Commissioning of
Lanchester Solar Trail (LST) Project.
Durham County Council undertaking the SMT for Lanchester Parish Council.

Bidding organisations must be registered on this Nepo system for the next tender stage.
This Project is supported and funded has been secured by Mid Durham AAP, Lanchester Parish Council and others to support the delivery of the scope and achievement of the strategic objectives for this project.
Should the Parish Council be unsuccessful in obtaining all / some funding or if additional funding becomes available the Project may be modified accordingly. Progression of this procurement exercise and any award of this contract opportunity will be conditional on confirmation of sufficient funds being available and/or modification of the Project requirements.
Due to funding it is anticipated that the Solar Trail be fully completed by end summer 2024
Planning Permissions are required for this project. Lanchester Parish Council have met with Planners at Durham County Council to introduce the project. It is to be noted that planning must be in place for any works to commence and designs and a planning application will be required to be completed by the conditional successful contractor to achieve all planning permissions required.
