Description

Together for Adoption is a new Regional Adoption Service made up of five local authority adoption agencies:

•St Helens
•Warrington
•Wigan
•Cheshire West and Chester
•Halton
Aims of the service - Service users whose lives have been affected by adoption feel that they are able to contact an independent service via a helpline to explore their experiences and to seek information , advice and telephone counselling
Service users (birth parents) feel that they have access to independent and effective support to assist them in dealing with issues relating to adoption. The service will provide birth parents with counselling, guidance and information
Offer a service that promotes equality and respects diversity
