Description

NOTIFICATION OF SUBCONTRACT PACKAGE

A47 / A11 Thickthorn Interchange

Galliford Try, as the East Region Delivery Partner are delivering the A47 / A11 Thickthorn Interchange project in the county of Norfolk in partnership with Highways England. The project will help relieve congestion at Thickthorn junction by providing two new free-flowing slip roads that will connect the A47 with the A11. The new slip roads will re-route traffic away from the junction and flow it under new underpasses.

The project has recently submitted a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate and the project is forecast to commence on site in early 2023 and will take around 2 years to complete.

Package: Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)

Outline Scope of Works

A GPR survey is required of the full site to locate any and all potential services prior to the construction works starting in 2023.

The required output from the survey is a 2D and 3D model. The 3D model needs to be in a format that can be incorporated into the full site model.

This survey will focus on the offline areas of the project. Any online elements will be instructed separately.
