Description

This is a PIN notice to inform interested suppliers that UK Research and Innovation (Innovate UK) is planning to launch a tender to commission the second phase only of an independent process and impact evaluation of the Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Challenge. Evaluation of the SSPP Challenge is split into four phases.

UKRI plans to hold the supplier engagement event before launching the invitation to tender.

• Phase 1 lays the groundwork for the evaluation, namely (a) the evaluation framework and (b) the baseline study.
• Phase 2 involves evaluation at the mid-point of the Programme. As such it will run from the end of Phase 1.
• Phase 3 will comprise a final evaluation, which will build on the Phase 2 work, and be undertaken as the Challenge closes.
• Phase 4 will be a longer-term continuation of the evaluation, beyond the end of the Programme.

This planned tender covers Phase 2 of the evaluation only. Phase 1 has already been completed and Phases 3 and 4 will be commissioned separately.

The route to market for the tender will be via RM6018 Crown Commercial Services, Research Marketplace DPS. Further details can be found on the link below, as well as how to join the DPS if you are not already registered.
