Description

Surrey County Council (SCC) manages and delivers hundreds of programmes and projects per annum. At times these can vary in consistency and quality which can lead to sub-optimal delivery. A recent internal PPM review has resulted in a new PPM Methodology, which is based on best practice and aligns in principle to APM & Prince2. The next step is to embed this into the culture at SCC, which may require an organisation-wide training programme and other culture changes, such as discussion, forums, etc.

The Surrey PPM methodology, also referred to as The Surrey Way, is available to all staff but we need key colleagues to recognise the importance, value and accessibility of the methodology when delivering programmes and projects of various sizes, including the adaptability of tools and techniques. Key roles include Accountable Executives, Senior Responsible Owners, Programme Managers and Project Managers
