Description
The Aerial Investigation and Mapping team of Historic England would like to lease an aircraft in order to undertake 90 hours of flying per year for the purposes of taking oblique and vertical aerial photographs. The aircraft should be based at Sherburn in Elmet airfield. The contract is for a total of three years with an option to extend it by an additional one year subject to requirement and performance.
Historic England will be the operator of the aircraft and be responsible for hiring pilots with commercial licenses. Historic England operate under European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Air Operations Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 Annex VII, Part-NCO, for non-commercial flights in other-than complex motor-powered EASA aircraft.
