Description

Stoke-on-Trent City Council (SoTCC) will be constructing a city-wide District Heating Network (DHN) over the next few years. Being a public project, the DHN scheme will be delivered using Building Information Modelling (BIM) Level 2. This will be the first BIM Level 2 project undertaken by SoTCC as an organisation, and therefore the services of a BIM Consultancy to act accordingly as strategic advisors is required. The scope of BIM Consultant/Strategic Advisor shall be in accordance with current British Standards and BIM Publically available specifications (PAS) 1192-2-2103, 1192-3-2014, BS1192-2007+A2_2016, 1192-5-2015, as well as CPIx assessments and the CIC BIM Protocols for projects.
BIM Level 2 will be implemented across the entire District Heating Network scheme including Energy Centres, Buried Network and Plantroom Installations.
