Description
The requirement is for the supply of two wheeled Material Handlers for use in Gloucestershire County Councils (GCC's) Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) which must meet the essential requirements identified in the specification. There will be an initial purchase of two machines as a result of this procurement and an option to purchase a further two within 12 months, subject to the availability of budget, business need and specification requirements at the time.
The equipment will be used 7 (seven) days a week moving and compacting open topped hooklift skips up to 50 cubic yards in Gloucestershire County Council's Household Recycling centres. Annual usage will be circa 1500 hours and the equipment will be expected to have a service life of at least seven (7) years with minimum downtime and without the need for substantial overhaul or major unit replacement.
