Description

Ongoing maintenance, support and upgrade for the Automated Intelligence SyncPoint and Compliance Extender Products.

SyncPoint is software that allows SharePoint 2013 to be connected to Outlook. This allows users to easily access their favourite SharePoint folders from within Outlook so they can 'drag and drop' email and attachments from inbox/sent items into SharePoint, thus helping the management of mailbox sizes and ensuring that important evidential emails are stored in SharePoint (hence ensuring compliance with Public Records Act, FOI/EIR acts. SyncPoint also enables documents stored in SharePoint to be accessed whilst working off-line. The product is used by all core-Defra staff.

'Compliance Extender' is a tool used by the SharePoint Delivery Team to manage SharePoint sites and information contained within sites. It increases the records management capability of SharePoint 2013
