Description

This requirement is to source a number of suppliers to provide consultant support to the Environment Agency's Climate Change, Trading and Regulatory Services team (CCTRS).

CCTRS regulate and administer various European and UK Government climate change policies. We are seeking to put a suitable call off contract(s) for consultants with skills, knowledge and experience to support our operational activities over the next four years to maintain both our current operational activities and enable us to plan and deliver for the future. This will include roles across a range of consultant grades dependent on the depth skills and knowledge required . This could include working with Government departments to inform policy development and ensuring its translation into effective operational activities.

The framework will commence in November 2020 for an initial period of 24 months with an option to extend for a further 2 x 12 month periods. Any extensions or variations will be at our discretion and subject to performance, requirement, cost and approvals. The framework will be structured into 3 lots to cover the following key activities:

• Lot 1 - Our 'business as usual' activities (permitting, account opening and assessing reports from businesses such as energy data, emissions data, annual reports)
• Lot 2 - Auditing
• Lot 3 - Expert technical advice
