Description
QU100 Construction Training
Quotations are invited for the delivery of accredited construction training to Birmingham and Solihull residents who are unemployed and claiming benefits and / or not in education or training (NEET). Providers are required to deliver a range of construction training.
The selected provider must be able to deliver (or sub-contract delivery) all of the following training. Delivery of these training courses is not guaranteed and is dependent on demand from the candidates on a call off basis.
All training must be accredited:-
? NVQ Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment and CSCS Card
? Abrasive Wheels - disc mounting
? Asbestos Awareness
? CAT and Genny (cable avoidance)
? Demolition Labourer Card
? Dry Lining
? Face Fit
? Fire Marshall
? IPAF / MEWPS - mobile elevating work platforms
? Manual Handling
? NRSWA Street works Operative Card (Units 1 to 6)
? PASMA Certificate - Mobile Access Towers
? Plant ticket - ride on roller, forward tipping dumper
? Plant and Vehicle Marshalling card
? Traffic Management
? Working at Heights
The contract is scheduled to commence from February 2018 and end in June 2018.
Birmingham City Council will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
