Description

SHORT TENDER TURNAROUND TIME DUE TO TIMESCALES REQUIRED SITE VISIT 17JANUARY 10AM. TENDER RETURN 21 JANUARY 12 NOON Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking for competent, qualified providers to carry out replacement and repairs of hospital flooring. We have a number of areas that urgently require new flooring therefore this agreement may be awarded to one company or up to 3 companies dependent on workforce capacity.
At present we do not have details on all the areas that will require flooring therefore we are asking for a schedule of rates that can be applied on a project by project basis. The areas listed in the bid sheet are phase one of what may or may not be expanded into further areas which could be the Trust as a whole. We can NOT guarantee any volumes or values but can estimate the contract value to be a minimum of £50,000 excluding VAT.
It is our intention to set up an internal Trust framework of up to 3 suppliers to allow several areas to be completed at the same time. Bidders will be ranked based on this tender criteria (Quality and Price evaluation) to determine the top 3 suppliers and then ranked again 1 to 3 in order of pricing. The Trust will always use the supplier ranked 1st on pricing unless that supplier has no capacity to complete the job in the required timescales in this instance we would then approach supplier 2, then supplier 3 in turn and so on. This may mean that only supplier ranked 1st on price will receive orders from the Trust during the contract period
