Description

The Department for Education (DfE) is providing funding to local authorities to coordinate programmes to provide healthy food, physical and enriching activities to children and young people who are in receipt of benefit based free school meals during the Easter, Summer and Christmas Holidays. During 2021, working with local providers over 7000 children were supported.

Together for Children are aiming to reach more children and young people during 2022 and further develop the offer to ensure that there is a rich and diverse programme of activity for all children and young people in Sunderland to access who are eligible to benefits-based free school meals.

Providers are invited to participate in a Selection Questionnaire process and if successful, will be allocated funding to deliver schemes for Spring 2022.
All applications are welcome however, priority will be given to providers that are based locally within Sunderland.
