Description
The objective of this project is for an independent mobile device user analysis review to be performed, to identify the best solution as a replacement for our EOL Blackberry Leap devices and to assist us in developing a high level roadmap which reflects our current and future business requirements.
We currently have BES 12 on premise supporting BlackBerry devices using the Gold license configured to enable ORR to add Android and IOS native mail delivery.
The key tasks will include an independent external supplier to
- Work with key individuals from within the Information Services area to understand our current device usage, Infrastructure model and our current roadmap (workflow/future mobile application footprint/environment changes).
- Complete a formal onsite review based on the outlined objective basis.
- Engage with colleagues in each ORR business area at ORR's head office as well as 5 regional offices performing analysis on daily working habits e.g. home working requirements and needs from our inspectors (who do a lot of work on the move and outdoors).
- To identify potential solutions and the best model for our mobile and device solution and work with the IT team to develop a high level roadmap for future services.
- Provide a detailed report detailing the findings and key analysis performed as part of the above tasks and present the best options for ORR (with high level costings and an overall recommendation) along with a proposed future functionality mobile device roadmap and the requirements included.
