Description

In March 2018 a retaining wall to the rear of the chalets failed which resulted in the upper section of wall collapsing and significantly damaging the beach chalets. A consultant is now required to :

• Prepare and submit a planning application and application for listed building consent to demolish the chalets.

• project manage and supervise the demolition works (by Council's Term Maintenance Contractor).

• Design a permanent retaining solution and the reinstatement of chalets and procure a Principal Contractor to undertake the works.

• Project manage and supervise the permanent reinstatement works.

• Administer the defects correction period.

• Undertake the role of Principal Designer under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
